HRIS 

The HR Information Systems unit is responsible for ensuring the provision of Human Resources systems capability to ensure the integrity of HR management information. This includes:

  • On-going maintenance and validation of HR data with specific focus on the establishment of posts/positions;
  • Generating of operational and statistical management information required by executive management, and other governance structures;
  • Credible data for the pursposes of compliance reporting to external stakeholders such as the Department of Labour.

This unit also provides training and support to HR employees on the ITS system.The current focus of the unit is the automation of some core HR process such as onboarding and fixed terms appointments.
